My Top Five Books of 2010: Best Book of 2010

Well, it's Christmas Eve, and I hope you all have those that you love with you already, or coming soon. I love this time of year - it has been hectic, but wonderful! For a very small Christmas Eve present for you, I want to share with you what I thought was the best book I read in 2010:

Yeah, you guessed it, it's President Lincoln: The Duty of a Statesman, by William Lee Miller. I wrote briefly about the book in this blog post, and I just cannot recommend the book enough. If you love Lincoln, history, or a well-written nonfiction book, do yourself a favor and buy this book with your Christmas cash or giftcards. It is a clear, and very moving portrait of Lincoln as President, and really made me a big fan of Lincoln - moreso than just the usual schoolkid.

Anyhow, happy holidays!
